TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Acceptance of Terms

By booking, purchasing a membership, accessing, or using the sauna services provided by Vihta Sauna LLC (“Vihta Sauna,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Participant” or “you”) agree to these Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”). If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

Booking and Payment

Reservations must be made through our online booking system or directly with Vihta Sauna. All reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed upon full payment or through an eligible active membership or prepaid pass.

Payment is required at the time of booking unless the reservation is covered by a valid prepaid pass. Membership discounts are applied to eligible reservations, with the remaining balance payable at booking.

Payments are non-refundable except as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions or required by applicable law.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Social Sauna Sessions

Social sauna reservations are non-refundable. Guests may reschedule their session once by providing at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time, subject to availability.

Requests made less than 24 hours before the session are not eligible for rescheduling. However, we understand that unexpected situations happen and may consider exceptions at our discretion.

Private Sauna Sessions

All private sauna reservations are non-refundable. We understand that plans can change, so we're happy to offer one complimentary reschedule with at least 7 days (168 hours) notice before the scheduled session, subject to availability.

For changes requested within 7 days of the scheduled session, please contact us. While we cannot guarantee a reschedule, we'll do our best to accommodate when possible.

Cancellations by Vihta Sauna

Vihta Sauna reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to adverse weather, safety concerns, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

For paid reservations canceled by Vihta Sauna, guests will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule. For membership reservations, guests may rebook another available session.

Vihta Membership — $60 per Month

Membership Benefits

The Vihta Membership provides discounted access to regularly scheduled 75-minute Social Sauna sessions, with the following benefits:

50% off one regularly priced Social Sauna seat, reducing the price from $40 to $20.
The discount is applied as $20 off each eligible reservation. If multiple seats are booked together, only one seat receives the discount, and additional guests pay the regular price.
Members may book Social Sauna sessions as often as they like, subject to availability.
$50 off every private sauna reservation while the membership is active.

Memberships are individual and cannot be shared or transferred to another person.

Reservations and Availability

All Social Sauna sessions must be reserved in advance through our booking system.

Reservations are subject to availability. Membership does not guarantee access to any particular date or time.

Membership discounts apply only to eligible reservations made by the member while their membership is active.

Membership discounts cannot be combined with other promotional discounts or offers unless expressly permitted by Vihta Sauna.

Monthly Billing and Renewal

The Vihta Membership costs $60 per month and automatically renews each month using the payment method provided at signup.

The monthly membership fee does not include individual Social Sauna reservations. Sessions are purchased separately at the discounted member rate.

By purchasing a membership, you authorize Vihta Sauna to charge the recurring monthly membership fee until the membership is canceled.

Membership Cancellation

Members may cancel their membership at any time through their online account or by contacting Vihta Sauna.

Cancellation stops future renewals. Membership benefits remain available through the end of the current paid billing period.

Membership payments are non-refundable, including unused or partially used billing periods, except where required by applicable law.

Membership Use

Membership benefits are intended exclusively for the registered member.

Members must follow Vihta Sauna's general reservation, safety, and conduct policies.

Vihta Sauna reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships for fraudulent activity, sharing membership benefits, repeated misuse of the reservation system, or violations of our safety and conduct policies, subject to applicable law.

Changes to Memberships

Vihta Sauna may update membership pricing, benefits, or terms with advance notice.

Any changes to recurring membership charges will be communicated and implemented in accordance with applicable law.

Safety and Conduct

Participants must follow all posted rules, instructions, and staff guidance.

Unsafe, disorderly, or disruptive behavior is prohibited and may result in removal from the premises without a refund.

Participants are responsible for supervising minors under their care and ensuring that all guests in their party follow Vihta Sauna's safety requirements.

Assumption of Risk

Sauna use and related activities, including lake swimming and cold-water immersion, involve inherent risks. These include exposure to extreme heat and humidity, dehydration, fainting, burns, slippery or wet surfaces, cold-water shock, drowning, exposure to communicable illnesses, and aggravation of existing medical conditions.

Participation may result in injury, illness, death, or damage to or loss of personal property.

By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept the inherent risks associated with these activities.

Participant Health and Eligibility

Participants are responsible for determining whether sauna use and related activities are appropriate for their health and physical condition.

Guests should consult a healthcare professional before participating if they are pregnant, have a medical condition that may be affected by heat or cold exposure, or have concerns about their ability to participate safely.

Guests must not use the sauna while under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or other substances that impair judgment or physical coordination.

Participants must discontinue use and notify staff if they feel unwell, dizzy, faint, or otherwise uncomfortable.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, Vihta Sauna LLC, its owners, members, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates, as well as Vasa Park Resort and its respective owners and operators, shall not be liable for injuries, illnesses, death, property damage, or losses arising from participation in sauna activities, except to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vihta Sauna LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from third-party claims, damages, or reasonable expenses arising from the Participant's violation of these Terms or intentional or negligent misconduct.

Medical Emergencies

In the event of an illness or injury, Vihta Sauna may contact emergency medical services and, where legally permitted, assist in arranging emergency medical treatment.

Participants are responsible for medical expenses incurred in connection with their treatment, except where otherwise required by law.

Privacy and Data Use

Personal information is collected, used, and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Vihta Sauna may take photographs or videos of its facilities and activities for promotional purposes. Guests who prefer not to appear in promotional content may notify our staff or contact us in writing.

Any use of an identifiable guest's image or likeness will be subject to applicable law and any required consent.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in King County, Washington, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
