TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Acceptance of Terms
By booking, accessing, or using the mobile sauna services provided by Vihta Sauna LLC (“Vihta Sauna,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Participant” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”). If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
Booking and Payment
Reservations must be made through our online booking system or directly with the Company. All reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon full payment. Payment is required at the time of booking. All payments are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Social Sauna Sessions
Cancellations initiated by Participants are generally non-refundable. Participants may request to reschedule a social sauna session by providing at least forty-eight (48) hours’ advance written notice. Only one reschedule is permitted per booking.
Private Sauna Sessions
Private sauna bookings are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled under any circumstances. Participants are responsible for ensuring their selected date and time are accurate before completing the booking.
Cancellations by Vihta Sauna
Vihta Sauna reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any session due to adverse weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, Participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Safety and Conduct
Participants must comply with all posted rules, instructions, and staff guidance. Unsafe, disorderly, or disruptive behavior is prohibited and may result in removal from the premises without refund. Participants are responsible for supervising any minors under their care.
Assumption of Risk
Use of the sauna involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, exposure to extreme heat and humidity, dehydration, fainting, burns, slippery or wet surfaces, exposure to airborne illnesses, and aggravation of existing medical conditions. Participation may result in injury, illness, death, or damage to or loss of personal property. By using our services, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks.
Participant Health and Eligibility
By participating, you represent that you are physically and mentally fit to use the sauna. You affirm that you are not pregnant, not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing substances, and that you have consulted a physician if you have any health condition that may be affected by sauna use.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, Vihta Sauna LLC, its owners, members, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates, as well as Vasa Park, shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, property damage, or loss arising out of or in connection with sauna use, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vihta Sauna LLC , including their members, employees, and affiliates, from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the sauna or your violation of these Terms.
Medical Emergencies
In the event of illness or injury, you authorize Vihta Sauna to obtain emergency medical treatment on your behalf. You are responsible for all associated medical costs and affirm that you have adequate health insurance or the ability to cover such expenses.
Privacy and Data Use
Your personal information will be collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such collection and use. You further consent to the use of your image or likeness for promotional purposes unless you notify us in writing that you do not consent.
Governing Law and Venue
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms must be brought exclusively in the state courts of King County, Washington.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remainder shall remain in full force and effect. Nothing in this Agreement is intended to waive liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
